MorningDial privacy policy
Last updated 27 October 2026
MorningDial is an alarm clock. It doesn't collect, share or sell any personal data.
What the app stores
Your alarms, routines, snoozes and a few app settings, for example whether you have finished the first-run setup. They are stored only on your phone, so alarms can ring even before you unlock it after a restart. They are not backed up or copied to another device, and they are deleted when you uninstall the app.
What the app sends
Nothing. MorningDial has no internet access, no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no third-party services.
Permissions
- Alarms and reminders (exact alarms): to ring on the exact minute.
- Notifications and full-screen alerts: to show the ringing alarm, its Snooze and Dismiss buttons, and a reminder an hour before each alarm.
- Run at startup: to set your alarms again after the phone restarts.
- Vibration and keeping the phone awake: while an alarm rings.
The app plays your phone's alarm sound. It doesn't read your music or other files.
Children
MorningDial isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect data from anyone.
